“Layers of Privilege / Invisible Burdens” visually explores inequalities and the unseen structures of power in society. The layers in the work symbolize different aspects of privilege—cultural, political, and social—emphasized through fragile and unstable materials. The piece focuses on how privilege and inequality accumulate and are carried as invisible burdens, often unnoticed by those who do not experience them. Through this work, I investigate how social and economic disparities are formed and how they impact individuals and groups within society.
