The exhibition of the four finalists for the DENES Young Visual Artist Award up to 35 – Ana Jovanovska, Ana Lazarevska, Simona Mancheva and Elena Chemerska.
The exhibition is part of the 15th edition of the prestigious international manifestation, DENES Award for Young Visual Artist up to 35, which is consisted of a two-month residency in New York, USA, for the winning artist. The exhibition will be open from April 21st till April 29th, 2021.
The international jury is composed of:
• Katia Krupennikova, curator and critic, docent at HKU University of Arts, Utrecht and part of the curatorial team of the V-A-C Foundation, Moscow;
• Paul Laster, writer, editor, curator, artist and lecturer, contributing editor at ArtAsiaPacific and Whitehot Magazine of Contemporary Art;
• Biljana Tanurovska Kulavkovski, producer, curator and researcher, president of the organization Lokomotiva – Centre for New Initiatives in Arts and Culture -Skopje;
• Albert Heta, artist, designer, art manager and artistic director of Stacion – Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina, Kosovo;
• Verica Kovacevska, artist and previous winner of the DENES award.
